What is Summer Reading?

The Summer Reading program provides fun, family-friendly entertainment for children and teens 0-17 years old, while providing the following benefits:

Possum Reading
  • Motivates children and teens to read.
  • Develops positive attitudes about reading and books.
  • Encourages regular use of the Library.
  • Attracts new users to the Library
  • Offers experiences through which children and teens can learn to work cooperatively.

Library Board of Trustees

The Library Board of Trustees meets on the third Thursday of the month at 5pm in the library. The public is invited to attend.
